    The Detective makes a believable protagonist, with instincts for the job and a compassion for the victims. I enjoyed the fast pace of the novel and how the purpose of the kidnapper unfolded. Clever story with a satisfying ending. I'd like to read of more cases with the same cast of characters.

    An interesting story and likable characters, but it was a bit tedious to read. The lack of editing, misused words, etc., bothered me. As much as I would like to know what happens next to the characters, I probably won't be reading the sequel. (And, yes, you do find out the name of the female love interest.)

    I have read a lot of mystery novels and although this may not have been the best example of literary mastery it is a great story that kept me fully engaged until the end. Much better than most free books. Yes there are some typos and no the author did not pay quite as much attention to every detail as he did to what each character was eating and drinking at every moment, but the story overall is well worth a read. I plan to pay for his next title as I have high hopes it will be equally as gripping and even more skillfully crafted.

    I absolutely loved your book. I am a very avid reader have been since I was a little girl. I have never read a book like your with such an amazing story line. I could not stop reading. You have a unique mind and look forward to reading more of your books. Thank you for sharing this story. Our justice system needs repairs and I think every judge,lawyer, and police officer should read this book and wonder how many people have been wronged by our system and know this does and could happen. This book made me want to do something to make sure this storyline is not played out in real life. You just don't know what you can do. Thanks again.
