  • Pleasantly Surprised

    I was pleasantly surprised by Dying for a Living. At first, I got it simply because I saw it was free to download and honestly wasn't expecting much. I was proven wrong. This book is fantastic, with little glimpses of greatness and social awareness. The main character is snarky and funny in a way that should feel overdone but somehow comes across as fresh and genuine. Plus (spoilers) it's always nice to see the lesbian live for once.

    I enjoyed this book. The writing was colloquial which made it easier to read. The death replacement aspect of the story was interesting because it was unique. I couldn't give this book five stars though because it has no ending. I hate when books in a series don't actually end.

    This is a book worth reading. I download it just for curiosity but when I finished it I didn't regret I did that in the first place. At some point can get a little crazy, even absurd but it has this crazy cliffhangers that leaves you breathless. I'm ready to read the other two books of the series.
