  • Enjoyed George and Moll’s story

    This book started slowly for me, and I didn’t connect with the main character. I found it odd that I couldn’t feel any sense of panic or fear for or with the character during the car pileup and maybe that’s the way the author meant to portray that scene, and the character’s reaction. After that, I put the book aside for a while. However I am glad I came back to it, because although I found the plot predictable, I did enjoy the development of the relationship between George and Moll. And I was particularly fascinated with the character Angus. So I did enjoy the book in a family drama way, but not in a thriller way.
